a message from TJ Reynolds – Release Concert
7 AprHello, beautiful people, This is TJ Reynolds with a reminder that my album release concert is coming up THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, April 9 at Radio Radio (1119 Prospect Street, INDPLS 46203). Doors open at nine, and an $8 cover also gets you a copy of my brand spanking new album Sugar on the Tongue. It might be a good idea to get there a bit earlier so you can make sure you are able to get in; this will be a big one. Opening the show will be Twin Monster, one of the tightest and most creative hip-hop outfits to emerge in the last few years. I will be playing with the entire Freehand Orchestra; Joseph Lehner on kit, Sarah Grain on vocals and electric guitar, Mina Keohane on keys and vocals, and Poncho Hedrick on bass. Also joining us will be Brian Hoover and Hubert Glover lacing some sweet horn lines on top of everything else! Yowza. There is also a rumored appearance from megaptera novaeangliae, but you didn’t hear that from me. It is a dual release, too! My sis Teresa, who is singing on a lot of songs on my album, has flown in from NYC for this show. On Friday she will be releasing “Aflame”, an EP of all original songs that we’ve written and I’ve produced. If you can’t make it Friday, we are playing a free all-ages show at 2pm this Sunday, April 11, at Indy CD & Vinyl. And if you can’t make either one of those, that music will be available on every major online site in early May, thru the awesome folks at Audio Recon. Also, pick up a copy of Nuvo or go to www.nuvo.net .
Thanks, TJ Reynolds
