Jason Mann-Mannick Sentiment album review

6 Jul

here’s a review from www.nuvo.netof Jason Mann’s new release where they gave it 3 out of 5 stars. A well deserved write up for seasoned m.c./producer who has paid his dues. This latest release exemplifies his craftsmanship.

here’s what they said,

“Whois Louis, this time recording under his government name, Jason Mann, veers off into new territory with his release Mannic Sentiment. “We may be through with the past,” a voice states on the opening track. It’s an understatement once one listens further. Hard drums accent ever-evolving, post-apocalyptic melodies on top of which Mann self-analyzes in an honest and appealing fashion. While glimmers of hope shine throughout, the majority of Mann’s work takes on a darker sentiment. Mann crafts interesting and occasionally catchy hooks, and the songs’ subjects are thoroughly explored.”

I have Jason’s new album and really enjoy it. The guy has mad passion and I was able to catch a live set at Locals Only not too long ago. He really lays it down. Much love!
